Janet Mbugua Can’t Keep Calm After John Cena Followed Her on Twitter

Media personality Janet Mbugua lost her sh*t this week after WWE superstar John Cena followed her on Twitter. In all honesty, who wouldn’t?The former Citizen TV news presenter could not keep the exciting news to herself as she took to the same micro-blogging site to share a screenshot of John Cena’s Twitter profile as proof that the American actor and television presenter follows her.She accompanied the post with a Sho Madjozi-inspired caption that reads: “Haibo! John Cena has followed me! (Inserts Sho Madjozi energy): Chi chi chi chi…chi, chi, chi. Happy new week, folks!”The mother of two was of course referencing singer Sho Madjozi’s viral encounter with John Cena on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’.The wrestler surprised the South African star as she performed her hit single “John Cena”, and just like Janet Mbugua, Sho Madjozi lost her sh*t too.

John Cena Told To Sue Sho MadjoziIn addition to making one of Madjozi’s dreams come true, John Cena has also earned plaudits for refusing to sue the singer for copyright infringement.

While appearing on A Little Late With Lilly Singh, the ‘You Can’t See Me’ famed wrestler said WWE wanted him to take action against Sho but he chose to do right by the talented star.“So I woke up one day, flooded with messages like, ‘man, you need to check out this link, you need to check this out right now.

This girl is singing about you.’ I said, ‘that’s great’, and they said, ‘no it’s not, this girl is making fun of you, she’s using you in a song, you’ve got to stop this’.”“So, it’s two schools of thought.

Yes, she’s mentioning my name and referencing what I do for a living, and I could easily be like, ‘yo, that’s IP copyrighting’ or I could say, ‘wow, she is a South African artist and my contribution at WWE has sparked creative inspiration to someone halfway across the world’. She can do whatever she wants.”He went on to add: “WWE kind of wanted me to issue a statement about it, but I didn’t want to take away her efforts and I didn’t want to make it about me.

So I posted a picture of her basically saying I see you and I won’t interrupt your flow here.

You have a great song and just know that I am watching you and I’m grateful.”Cena also announced that the song will be featured in his new film, Playing With Fire, as part of his character’s early-morning ritual.Sho said she wrote the song after a boy she liked failed to notice her.
